Ordination Ceremony for Myoki Raizelah Bayen

Red Cedar Zen Community would like to warmly invite everyone - sangha, family and friends - in support of the Novice Priest Ordination (Shukke Tokudo) for Myoki Raizelah Bayen with her teacher Hoka Chris Fortin from Dharma Heart Zen.

At this ceremony Raizelah will receive her formal priests' robes and bowls and begin a life-long journey serving the sangha and the world as a Sōtō Zen priest.

This intimate ceremony will be immediately followed by a potluck lunch and reception. Please bring a small potluck lunch item and your warm hearts.

This special ceremony will concludes the community's Fall Practice Period 3 Day Opening Sesshin. The sesshin and ceremony will occur in Sansui-ji, Mountains and Waters temple.
