Red Cedar Zen Community is deeply committed to ethical conduct and interpersonal safety. These pages describe our ethical guidelines, their basis in the Zen Buddhist precepts, the reporting process for ethical violations, our Clear Communication (mediation) process, and provide additional resources.

All visitors, members, and participants in Red Cedar Zen Community events agree to abide by the following Ethical Guidelines of our community.  These guidelines encourage us to become more aware, to learn about our minds, and to open our hearts to kindness and generosity. If you experience difficulty in following any of these guidelines, or if you feel that others are not following them, please seek guidance and support from Sangha Steward, a teacher, or a Board member.
