Ordination Ceremony for Seishin Tyndall

Red Cedar Zen Community would like to warmly invite everyone - sangha, family and friends - in support of the Novice Priest Ordination (Shukke Tokudo) for Seishin Taliesin Laughing Owl Tyndall. 

At this ceremony Seishin will receive their formal priests' robes and bowls and begin a life-long journey serving the sangha and the world as a Sōtō Zen priest.

This intimate ceremony will be immediately followed by a potluck reception and tea. Please bring finger food and your warm hearts.

This special ceremony will immediately follow the community's August one-day sitting the details of which can be found here. The sitting and ceremony will occur in Sansui-ji, Mountains and Waters temple. For those supporting and celebrating Seishin on Zoom, you will join the ceremony using the link to our Online Zendo found on the Zendo page of our website.
