Join the community in person at Samish Island for a Lay Entrustment Ceremony for Seiu Hannah Sullivan at 2pm.

Visiting Teacher Sokaku Kathie Fischer will confer Lay Entrustment, full authorization as a lay teacher, to Hannah in this ceremony.

This year's ceremony is part of our 3 day residential sesshin at Samish Island Retreat Center.

Be sure to arrive early to park and walk across the grounds to the zendo in time for the 2:00pm ceremony start.

Note: this is an in person only event - we are unable to broadcast on Zoom from Samish Island.
