Join us in a mindful exploration of the wetlands of Tennant Lake County Park outside of Ferndale.

We’ll gather at 11am by the Tenant Lake house (next to the parking area) to begin a slow silent walk on the boardwalk.

Stops for sitting meditation and Wilderness Dharma Ritual will be included as we take our time immersing ourselves in the rich wetlands ecosystem. This walk is accessible, flat, and about a mile in length.

Please bring a picnic lunch for some social time after our walk.

Led by Guiding Teacher Nomon Tim Burnett who also, along with Bob Penny, was formerly a naturalist and educator at Tennant Lake.

Tim will be in back in Whatcom County for the 2nd half of May. See also Sitting in the Park on the previous day: Friday May 21st at 3pm.

Registration required. Red Cedar Members are welcome to register with no fee.
