Join us in this rare opportunity to spend the morning doing nothing but zazen (sitting meditation), kinhin (walking meditation), and bowing.
We will maintain silence throughout, with the exception of bells to mark meditation periods, and chanting the Refuges aloud when we end.

If you are planning to come and this will be your first time, please contact Andrea for orientation. Those materials will also be posted the week of the Zazenkai.
No registration fee, please consider bringing a dana donation for the teacher.
Schedule: Zazen begins at 8:00am, the day concludes with Refuges at 12:30pm.
ZAZENKAI SILENT HALF-DAY SESSHIN SCHEDULE
8:00 zazen (with Robe Chant silently to ourselves)
10:20 fast kinhin
10:35 bathroom or water break
12:20 9 bows together, then continue at own pace, end signaled by bell
12:30 chant refuges to close.
There will be a 10 minute period of bowing at your own pace prior to the refuges, and we will have one period of fast kinhin. Both of these activities can be adapted to harmonize with individual needs and abilities.
