All are welcome to join during the final evening and morning of our Rohatsu Buddha's Enlightenment retreat Saturday night December 3rd into Sunday morning December 4th.

No charge but please RSVP so we know numbers.

Arrive any time (really: any time) starting at 7pm or later into the night. Stay for a while or stay all night.

It's traditional in the Rohatsu Sesshin to sit up all night as an enactment of Buddha's night of sitting under the Bodhi tree before his awakening. You are welcome to come and go and also to bring a sleeping bag and sleep for bits of the night.

Or arrive in the early morning for the final ceremony - schedule below. Please join us!

SUNDAY MORNING SCHEDULE

6:00am zazen (25 min., opening w/ robe chant & priest's jundo)
6:30am Star Walk
7:00am Kinhin
7:10am Rohatsu Ceremony (40 min)
8:00am informal breakfast (finishing preparation together)
9:15am work meeting (hall cleanup)
10:00am end of sesshin
