Join sangha teacher Shudo Chris Burkhart for a quiet day of sitting and walking meditation. The day includes noon service, a silent bag lunch, and the opportunity to drop into deep silence together.
The day begins with zazen at 9am and closes with the refuge chant at 5pm. Please bring a sack lunch.
You are welcome to join for the full day (9am-5pm), or the morning (9am-Noon), or the afternoon (1pm-5pm). Please do not arrive or leave at other times to help support the settled quiet of this day of practice.
The morning will include a short Dharma Talk and the afternoon a small group discussion.
Our intention is to offer these Sunday Simple Sits on months which otherwise don't have major retreats or sesshin on the schedule so that we can have a sangha opportunity for a full day of sitting monthly.
Please contact Chris with questions at chrisburkhart@hotmail.com, or simply RSVP with the registration system (no charge). Click Register on the left to being the brief RSVP registration process.
