UPDATE: Practice Moves to Sansui-ji soon....

We now hope to move our regular weeknight practice to Sansui-ji Mountains and Rivers temple on Wednesday August 13th. Stay tuned.

The One Day Sit and Priest Ordination on Sunday August 10th have been re-invented and re-located to a Noon-4pm Mini-Retreat with the ordination at 2pm at Rising Moon Meadows (4566 Anderson Way, Bellingham, WA 98225) just outside of Bellingham.

Can you help us finish up and get moved in? More work parties in August have been added.

Joining Us for Zen Practice

We follow the traditional forms of the Soto school of Zen with a spirit of warmth and inclusion. 

We gather at both a physical zendo at Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship and in a virtual zendo on Zoom with a weekly schedule of meditation practice, classes, and  retreats. See our Zendo page for directions. 

If you're new to Zen or our community, we're happy to offer an orientation to our practice. Just email orientation@redcedarzen.org.

It's also perfectly fine to just show up, watch someone, and do what they do.
