Membership Update for members who joined before July 2019

Updating your membership at a glance

  1. Stop making your current monthly or annual membership donations.

  2. Log in to the Red Cedar Zen Community website.

  3. Go to the Membership Form (Membership > Membership Form).

  4. Select your desired membership level.

  5. Submit your first membership payment.

Stop making monthly payments through WECU?

  1. Login to your WECU online banking account 

  2. Click "Transfers"

  3. Click "Make a Transfer" 

  4. Click "Schedule a Transfer" 

  5. You should now see a list of your scheduled transfers, including one to the Red Cedar Zen account (account #272819) 

  6. Delete it by clicking the adjacent Trash Can icon.

What if I already made an annual payment less than a year ago? 

You don't need to do anything at this time. We have already entered your annual donation into the new system, including the amount and date received. As the one year anniversary of your latest membership donation approaches, you will begin to receive automated reminders by email that it's time to renew your membership, at which point you will need to login to the website to setup your next donation in the new system. You will be given a choice to continue making annual donations, or switch to making monthly donations.

How do I log in to the Red Cedar Zen Community Website? 

  1. Go to the Red Cedar Zen Community website at https://redcedarzen.org

  2. Click the "Log in" button in the top left.

What if I’ve forgotten my password?

Follow the two steps listed in the previous item. When you get to the login form, click the "Forgot password" link and follow the prompts.

What if I don’t see “Membership” in the main menu?

You might be in Admin view. Look for a link the top right that says "Public view", and click it.  When you're in Public view, your main menu should include an item "Membership". 

What if I click on “Membership Form”, and I see a notice "You are already a member"?

Most members have been assigned a temporary generic membership that needs to be updated to an actual membership. The notice you're seeing should be accompanied by a link to "Edit your member profile". Click that link, and you will be presented with the membership form. 

How do I complete the Membership Form?

The first page of the Membership Form includes a long list of options for membership levels, including memberships that renew either monthly or yearly. Both are setup to automatically renew by default, but if you prefer to renew manually, you can easily disable the automatic renewal feature any time after you've set up your account.  Select your desired membership level from among the many options, then click the "Next" button at the bottom of the page. Continue to follow the prompts, filling out the form, and pressing "Next" to continue. The final step is to submit your payment. Select the "Pay Online" button to enter your payment information.
