Our Old Business
RCDH Logo: Update by Brian
Brian discussed the proposed changes to the logo designs with Talus. talus said he would look at the suggestions and decide if he could make the alterations. This will take some time due to other engagements.
New Treasurer/New VP: Update from Jeff. Discussion about board commitments and activity levels.
Individual members were approached by Jeff and Tim about potential RCZC volunteer positions on the board. No confirmations were made at this time. The Board also reviewed a draft communication chart produced by Brian. The board agreed that this was a confusing reproduction of our organizational chart and would not meet our needs. The conversation turned to the implementation of a comment card with the option to send comments via email as well.
decision: the board agreed not to push this issue any further until after the meeting with Norman Fischer.

Membership Month: Open discussion and updates.
members agreed that this Membership month should be kept simple to focus on our core offerings. The annual letter will be sent out in November. It will include financial and membership information. After Membership Month the directory will be updated and sent out to RCZC members.
Our New Business
Annual Board meeting: Initial discussion. Previously this was done in November.
Members discussed possible dates and formats for the meeting. Members decided on having it after Saturday Morning zazen, and breakfast. Perhaps a dharma talk would be included
