Dharma Hall

Our primary place of practice is the Red Cedar Dharma Hall, 1021 N. Forest Street. This is our new facility, where we began practicing as of October 2007 after fourteen years at the Bellingham Dharma Hall, a shared and cooperative practice space on State Street in downtown Bellingham.

Please see our special website for information about renting Red Cedar Dharma Hall for events and classes.

Additional events occur at the Community of Christ’s camp on beautiful Samish Island, and other locations.

Directions to Red Cedar Dharma Hall

From I-5 north or south, take the Lakeway Exit (#253). Turn right onto Lakeway if coming from the north; from the south, take a right at the exit, then another right at the intersection, passing under the freeway. Take a soft right onto Holly St. at the second light. Go down the hill, and take a left on State Street driving for 3 blocks, turn left on Laurel Street and in one block left on Forest Street (which is one way the other direction). Look for Red Cedar Dharma Hall on your left just before Maple Street at 1021 N. Forest.

Optionally, stop near the old Bellingham Dharma Hall (now Bellingham Shambhala Center) at State and Maple to look for parking on State or Maple Streets and walk up to Forest and just two doors south from the Majestic to Red Cedar Dharma Hall.

We are at 1021 N. Forest Street (just south of the intersection of Forest and Maple, 2 doors down from the Majestic). Street parking is available in the surrounding area but can be difficult on weekends.
